Cancellation & date-change policy
  • Change of heart: cancel within 12 hours of booking for a full refund, whenever your dates are.
  • Overnight stays: cancel 3 months or more before check-in for a 50% refund of the stay and add-ons. Within 3 months of check-in the stay isn't refundable, but add-ons are.
  • The €350 damage deposit is always refunded in full if you cancel.
  • Date changes are free, subject to availability, for new dates within 12 months of your original booking. If the new dates cost more you pay the difference; if they cost less there's no refund or credit. If you cancel after moving your dates, the refund is worked out from your original dates.
  • If we ever have to cancel, you get a full refund and we'll help you find somewhere else to stay.

  • No fireworks, sky lanterns or firecrackers.

  • Children must be watched on the stairs and balconies.

🏛️Looking after the Palazzo

  • No nails, tape or pins on the walls. Please don't move furniture between rooms.
  • Please separate the recycling (€50 fine if mixed).
  • No pets.

THEGREENSIXTEEN PALAZZO — HOUSE RULES & AGREEMENT TERMS 1. BOOKING, PAYMENT & DAMAGE DEPOSIT - The full booking amount plus a €350 damage deposit is paid to confirm your booking. - Provided there is no damage, overstay charge or other breach, your damage deposit is refunded in full within 24 hours of check-out. - Change of heart: you can cancel within 12 hours of booking for a full refund. - Cancel 3 months or more before check-in for a 50% refund of the stay and add-ons; within 3 months the stay is non-refundable but add-ons are refunded. The €350 damage deposit is always refunded in full on cancellation. - Date changes are free, subject to availability, for new dates within 12 months of the original booking. If the new dates cost more you pay the difference; if they cost less there is no refund or credit. If you cancel after moving your dates, the refund is based on the original dates. - If we have to cancel, you receive a full refund and we will help you find alternative accommodation. 2. CHECK-IN, CHECK-OUT & GUEST NUMBERS - Check-in from 3:00pm, check-out by 10:00am. - The Palazzo sleeps up to 16 guests. Only the guests named on the booking may stay; no visitors without our prior approval. - Arriving with more guests than booked is a breach of this agreement and may be charged at the correct guest count, or the extra guests asked to leave. 3. NO PARTIES & RESPECTING THE NEIGHBOURS - No parties, events or gatherings of any kind. - The Palazzo is in a residential area of Floriana. Please keep noise low at all times to respect the community and our neighbours. Quiet hours are 11:00pm to 8:00am, and no loud music at any time. - No fireworks, sky lanterns or firecrackers. 4. SAFETY - The Palazzo is non-smoking indoors, including the balconies. No candles or open flames. - Children must be supervised on the stairs and balconies at all times. 5. LOOKING AFTER THE PALAZZO - No nails, screws, tape, pins or adhesives on walls, beams or doors. - Please don't move furniture between rooms. - Recycling bins provided must be used to separate waste — mixing recyclables with general waste incurs a €50 fine. - Damage beyond normal wear and tear is deducted from the damage deposit; costs beyond that are invoiced separately. 6. PETS - Pets are not allowed. 7. GENERAL - The venue accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to belongings, except where caused by our own negligence.
