JINNIES FARMHOUSE — HOUSE RULES & AGREEMENT TERMS 1. BOOKING, PAYMENT & DAMAGE DEPOSIT - Events: a 35% damage deposit secures your booking. The full booking amount is due 10 days before your event. - Provided there is no damage, overstay charge or other breach, your damage deposit is refunded in full within 24 hours of check-out. - Change of heart: you can cancel within 12 hours of booking for a full refund. - Events: cancel 3 months or more before the event for a 50% refund of everything paid; within 3 months the venue hire is non-refundable and the 35% deposit is kept, unless the full amount has been paid, in which case the 35% deposit and add-ons are refunded. - Date changes are free, subject to availability, for new dates within 12 months of the original booking. If the new dates cost more you pay the difference; if they cost less there is no refund or credit. If you cancel after moving your dates, the refund is based on the original dates. - If bad weather is forecast for an event, we offer a free date change, subject to availability. - If we have to cancel, you receive a full refund and we will help you find alternative accommodation. 2. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT - Event check-out is 9:00pm (21:00) at the latest. Guests remaining on site past check-out are charged €150 per hour or part-hour. 3. NOISE & SAFETY - No fireworks, sky lanterns or firecrackers, given the farmland setting. - Confetti: only biodegradable dried-flower confetti is allowed. No plastic confetti or glitter. 4. POOL & GROUNDS SAFETY - No glass containers in or around the pool. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times — there is no lifeguard on site. - No dogs in the pool. This is only allowed by prior approval, and is subject to an additional cleaning expense. - The pool is serviced early Friday and Saturday mornings; access may be briefly limited then. - Smoking is permitted only in the designated outdoor area. No open flames, candles or sparklers beyond anything pre-arranged with the venue. 5. GUEST NUMBERS - Your price is based on the guest count declared at booking. Arriving with materially more guests is a breach of this agreement and may be re-invoiced at the correct headcount. Hard maximum capacity: 50 guests. 6. PROTECTING THE PROPERTY - No nails, screws, tape, pins or adhesives on the stone walls, timber beams or any structural surface for decorations. - Please don't move indoor or outdoor furniture without asking a member of staff first. Park only in the designated parking area. - Damage beyond normal wear and tear is deducted from the damage deposit; costs beyond that are invoiced separately. 7. VENDORS, WASTE & CLEANUP - External caterers and vendors are welcome, but must clean up after themselves and remove all of their own equipment and waste. - Guests are responsible for overseeing that their vendors do this. Failure to comply will incur extra cleaning fees. - Recycling bins provided on site must be used to separate waste — mixing recyclables with general waste incurs a €50 fine. 8. PETS - Well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Pets must be kept off furniture and beds, and the owner is responsible for any mess or damage caused. 9. GENERAL - The whole farmhouse and grounds are available for your booking — there are no off-limits areas. - The venue accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to belongings, except where caused by the venue's own negligence.
